Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the Wave Line?

The Wave Line is a series of Eurorack modules designed for intuitive usage and understanding within the workflow. These modules stand out for their versatility, minimalistic design, and pure analog nature.

What is the Zynthesis Line?

Zynthesis Line comprises DIY modules focused on teaching modular synthesis. We offer workshops that cover basic electronics, synthesis principles, and detailed insights into the module assembly.

Are the workshops available virtually?

Currently, our workshops are both in-person and virtual but exclusive to Colombia. We're in the process of creating professional digital content for broader access.

Where can I listen to the modules in action?

Please visit our YouTube channel, ZanySignals, where we showcase module demonstrations, tutorials, and more pertinent modular synthesis information.

What material are the ZanySignals shirts made of?

Our shirts are 100% cotton with high-quality DTF printing, available in sizes S through XXL.

How do I identify the module's primary and secondary functions?

Primary functions are discernible through the large knobs located at the module's top. Secondary functions are denoted by the smaller black knobs in the module's midsection. The smaller blue knobs, typically in the module's middle, regulate the control voltage (CV) input intensity.

How can I distinguish between the module's inputs and outputs?

Outputs are situated at the module's bottom, marked with filled or prominently highlighted serigraphy. Inputs are defined by an outline around the jacks.

Which modules are essential for a beginner?

We recommend starting with a basic synthesis chain consisting of: DOSC (VCO), Strainer (VCF), Capture (ADSR), MagControl (VCA), StereoPlus (Stereo Mixer), and LazyFo (LFO). However, your specific sonic design and workflow might require modifications or substitutions to this list. For a drum line, pairing LowBlow with Shiny is optimal.

Can I fit ZanySignals modules in Cases from other brands?
